OLD Testament?: "Money, Religion, Politics, 'Medicine', Law, Education, Information, Society," Et Al, IE EG "Civilization ~ Culture ~ Higher Intelligence?" Et Cetera

~Moses persuaded right-minded persons to accompany him in large numbers, to the place standing now as Jerusalem ... The Hebrew word can also mean “horns,” and when Michelangelo sculpted a marble Moses in 1515, he relied on Jerome's description in the Latin Vulgate translation. The resulting 235-cm-high horned statue can be seen in Rome (S. Pietro in Vincoli) today ..
.. The original Hebrew scripture (Exodus 34) stated that when Moses descended from Mt. Sinai, he had “rays of light” coming from his head.

"The Nazis made me afraid to be a Jew, and the Israelis make me ashamed to be a Jew"

Forward, P 11, Para 2:  Through music, and particularly my very personal struggle with Arab music, I learned to listen .. To empathise is to accept the primacy of the ear ~
  •  I am searching for the metaphysical, spiritual and socio-political connotations, Gilad Atzmon ~

.. From superstition arose ... circumcision, cliterodectomy, and other practices which the people observe .. The tyrannical government produced robbery; for the rebels plundered both their own and the neighboring countries. Those also who shared in the government seized upon the property of others, and ravaged a large part of Syria and of Phoenicia. Respect, however, was paid to the Acropolis [Zion, or the Temple Mount in Jerusalem]; it was not abhorred as the seat of tyranny, but honoured and venerated as a temple ...

.. Such was Moses and his successors; their beginning was good, but they degenerated.
