Please
allow me a small, small, modicum of optimism. Today, the subdued new
banko judge disqualified himself based on my 21 pages of information on
the subject of judicial disqualification in the Ninth Circuit. (Bob and
Andy — This goes all the way to SCOTUS) And it was To the equally
subdued phalanx of lawyers on the telephone line that have been dealing
with me for 9 years.
This
deep plunge made me remember where it all started in the foreclosure
arena. The issue of Standing and Natache’s fortitude. ‘Standing' is still the seminal issue. My project commencing today is tracking that ignored issue — again ---on all my cases (!).
So, I am taking a deep (second) breath preparing for another deep dive. With the smile of a dolphin.
And I got David Dayen’s book ‘Chain of Title’ and am on page 70 of about 300+. It is required reading in each of our libraries. (It was about $14 on Amazon. I got used, but it is brand new and in perfect condition) There is a lot of us there. A lot.
Lisa Epstein is on Facebook --@ 4closure and foreclosure hamlet. She
is one of the three stories in Dayen’s book. But they all are our stories. All of us. The voiceless.
It
is time to hike up our pants, regroup and go for it. O.K. Roberta,
back to work. Bob and Andy — I have a few nuggets for you soon.
Start with ‘Indivisible' on YouTube. And ‘Lawyer’s Without Rights’ at
the ABA. Really!
Finally,
a ’shout-out’ to Roberta. She has it as difficult as most of us——X3.
We all need some slack now and then——then back into the inferno.
Best Thoughts, Lauren
