Alley Way
I looked forward and saw
nothing in front of me but, black
either wall on both sides
Black was wherever space was
in a time capsule of sorts, darkness
an Alley Way paved cyclone
SPRING
Driving in the mountainous hills
in Taos and up higher country in
New Mexico mud slippery hell
Well a sloppy quick sand
stuck in the dangerous snow melt and
with two very young sons
Was not only dumb it
was downright suicidal traveling in Spring’s elements
parents children in high desert
Thinking a Holy Crusade called
our four close knit family
to help save humanity naturally
Silly superstitions silently can rule
believing an inner truth and / or outer
idea ideology feeling thought action
Reality visits life least wise
it’s a long down expectations crashed
falling freely into Spring’s abyss
Rising once Summer’s nature shows
nicking time saving light green til another
season leads followers spiraling cycles
